Authority, African Parks sign $5mln MoU

Addis Ababa, October 11, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopian Wildlife Conservation Authority has signed  MoU worth 5 Million USD with African Parks Network  for management of transboundary parks.

Gambella and Ommo Parks are the ecotourism sites to be developed in Ethiopia as per the MoU.

The agreement is also aimed for transboundary ecosystem management and natural resources conservation activities in border areas of Ethiopia and South Sudan.

Infrastructure and community development activities are also included in the target sites.
