Nation Observes 14th National Flag Day
Addis Ababa, October 11, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopians today have marked the 14th National Fag Day all over the country.
In an occasion here in the capital President Sahle work Zewdie has noted that since the flag is a symbol of unity, national sovereignty and liberty Ethiopians should remember to always revering it.
The day has been commemorated at various institutions including Fana Broadcasting Corporate.
As the year is that Ethiopia has established a new government, after the 6th national election, some regions have marked the event with specially assorted events.
The flag law states that the National Flag Day “shall be celebrated at national level every year on the first Monday of the Ethiopian month of Tikimit (October)”.
