Park Helping Tourist Number Rise: Administration

Addis Ababa, October 10, 2021 (FBC) – Constructed with the initiative and close supervision of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD), Unity Park in Addis Ababa has been visited by 590 thousand visitors since its establishment.

Director of the Park, Tamirat Haile (PhD), on its second year celebration Saturday, noted that the park has been greatly contributing in helping boost number of tourists, national image building, and job creation, among others.

Of the visitors about 25 thousand were foreign tourists.

The park was closed for six months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
