A delegation from Addis Ababa arrive in Bahir Dar City to deliver Aid to IDPs in Amhara region
Addis Ababa, September 15, 2021 (FBC) – A delegation of City Government Officials of Addis Ababa have arrived in Bahir Dar City to deliver humanitarian support to IDPs in Amhara region who fled their homes due to terrorist TPLF attacks against innocent civilans.
A delegation has been acoorded warm welcome by officials of Amhara Regional State upon arrival at Bahir Dar Dejazmach Belay Zeleke Airport.
The delegation consists of representatives of the business communities, civic society organizations and officials of the city administration of Addis Ababa.
On behalf of the City Administration, Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa Adanech Abiebie has handed over a 385 Million Birr Bank Cheque to President of the Amhara Regional State, Agegnehu Teshager in support of the displaced who fled their homes due to terrorist TPLF atrocities.
It is also expected that the city delegation will discuss with President of the Amhara Regional Sate on ways of mobilizing further supports in the capital city to IDPs in the region.
