Renowned Ethiopian Munshid Mohammed Awol Salah laid to rest

Addis Ababa, August 23, 2021 (FBC) – The renowned Ethiopian Munshid Mohammed Awol Salah laid to rest in Kolfe Muslim Cemetery, Addis Ababa in the presence of thousands of mourners drawn from several parts of the country.

It is indicated in the funeral ceremony that Mohammed Awol Salah who was born in 1966 in Dessie town, Amhara region attended Islamic education in several madrasas found in his home town.

Mohammed Awol Salah has served his country Ethiopia with military services as a soldier.

Although he was a singer for years, Mohammed quitted singing secular songs 2007 and fully inclined to Nasheed, and devoted all his life for regions matters till his death on August 23, 2021.
