Somali Region Deputy President Mustafa Omer meets with Kenyan Parliamentary delegation

Addis Ababa, August 22, 2022 (FBC) – Deputy President of the Somali Regional State, Mustafa Omer has met with Kenayan parliamentary delegation which is visiting to the region.

Mustafa briefed members of the delegate on the ongoing development projects in the Somali region particularly in health, road and education sectors.

He also explained to the delegate about activities being carried to maintain peace and security in the region.

The Deputy President also told Kenyan parliamentarians that the political scope has been widened and several contending parties are operating in the region since the reform was introduced to the nation.

Members of the delegate, to themselves, appreciated the regional government for the explanation and experience sharing witnessing the peaceful situation and flourishing development projects in the region.
