Defense Ministry of China donates 200,000 doses of COVID 19 vaccine to its Ethiopian counterpart

Addis Ababa, August 19, 2021 (FBC) – The National Defense Ministry of China has donated 200,000 doses of Sinovac COVID 19 Vaccine to its Ethiopian Counterpart.

During the handover ceremony, Defense Health Development and Disease Prevention Division Head at the Ethiopian Defense Force, Colonel Dr. Alemu Tike said the vaccines have a capacity of immunizing more than 150,000 troops against Coronavirus.

Preparations are underway to transport the vaccine to troops of the national army stationed at various fronts in the country.
