Residents of Jigjiga hold rally to denounce terrorist group TPLF

Addis Ababa, August 13, 2021 (FBC) – Residents of Jigjiga town have staged a rally in support of the national defence forces and the Somali Special force.

The rally was graced by the presence of Mustefe Mohammed, Chief Administrator of Somali regional state and his deputy Ibrahim Usman as well as other local officials.

The demonstrators expressed their support to the national defence and the Somali Special forces as well as denounced the atrocities being committed by the terrorist group TPLF.

In a related development, a fundraising program is underway in Semera town, Afar regional state, to habilitate those community members displaced by TPLF.

Chief Administrator of Afar regional state, Awol Arba, is in attendance of the program.
