South Sudan Deputy FM says GERD is a peace project to benefit entire region

Addis Ababa, May 21, 2021 (FBC) – Deputy Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister, Deng Dau Deng said the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) is a peace project that will benefit the entire region.

According to Deputy Consul General of Ethiopian Consulate KSA, Nebiyu Tedla, the Deputy Minister Deng Dau Deng highlighted the importance of GERD in enhancing social and economic cooperation in the horn and beyond.

“With this understanding, South Sudan parliament will soon ratify Nile Basin Cooperative Framework Agreement” Deng Dau Deng underscored.
