First Lady inaugurates13.8mln Birr worth School buildings in Metekel Zone

Addis Ababa, May 19, 2021 (FBC) – The First Lady Zinash Tayachew has today inaugurated secondary school building that have been built by her office in Mandura Woreda of Metekel Zone, Benshangul Gumuz Region.

Newly inaugurated Walamba Secondary School which has been built at a cost of 13.8 Million Birr is one of the 20 schools constructed by the Office of the First Lady throughout the country.

The School is said to have capacity of enrolling 1,800 pupils with double-shift system, and is equipped with modern laboratories, libraries and ICT facilities.

First Lady Zinash has donated computers, solar energy sources, uniforms and shoes and other teaching aids to the school.
