Ambassador Tegenu, Russian Investors explore ways to enter Ethiopian market

Addis Ababa, April 22, 2021 (FBC) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to Alemayehu Tegenu discussed with Russian investors on how to penetrate the Ethiopian market.

The meeting in which the ambassador discussed with the investors was co-organized by the federal council of North Western Federal District in St. Petersburg City under the theme “New Rules of Development”.

Business Communities drawn from 30 cities of Russia, representatives of government and private institutions, members of the diplomatic community and religious leader took part in the consultative meeting.

On the occasion, the Ethiopian Ambassador briefed the participants on the thriving opportunities that Ethiopia has facilitated in the investment sector.

Mining, energy, information communication, manufacturing and technology transfer fields, among others are suitable investment sector for Russian investors, the ambassador elaborated on the meeting.
