Ethiopia, Algeria pledge to strengthen political, economic cooperation

Addis Ababa, April 21, 2021 (FBC) – Speaker of the House of People’s Representatives (HPR), Tagesse Chafo, today held discussion with Algerian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Rachid Benlounes.

Tagesse said that the cooperation between the two countries will continue to flourish in the areas of political, social and economic spheres.

The two sides reached an agreement allowing the Ethiopian airlines to resume flight to Algiers to encourage business and investment from both countries.

Algerian Ambassador said his country is keen to work with Ethiopia to reinforce its political and economic cooperation with the Horn of African country.
