President Sahle-Work sends letter of condolences to Queen Elizabeth II

Addis Ababa, April 10, 2021 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde has sent a letter of condolences to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the passing of her husband, Prince Philip.

The President highlighted the great example of service to one’s nation displayed by the late Prince Philip and expressed condolences on her own behalf as well as that of the people and government of Ethiopia.

It is to be recalled that Her MajestyQueen Elisabeth and her husband Prince Philip visited Ethiopia at the invitation of Emperor Haile Selassie in 1965.
