Some 57 people die of TB every day in Ethiopia: Ministry

Addis Ababa, March 22, 2021 (FBC) –Some 57 people die of tuberculosis (TB) every day in Ethiopia, according to the Ministry of Health.

This was announced during the World TB Day 2021 being commemorated for the 39th time globally and 24th time in Ethiopia today.

Encouraging results were registered in the prevention of TB, but more remains to be done, it was noted.
