Inter-Religious Council celebrates 10th year founding anniversary
Addis Ababa, March 10, 2021 (FBC) –The Inter-Religious Council of Ethiopia today celebrated its 10th year founding anniversary.
Religious leaders and senior government officials, including President Sahle-Work Zewde attended the event held in Addis Ababa.
In her opening remark, the President said “there is more religious tolerance and coexistence in Ethiopia than any other country.”
This, according to the President, is undoubtedly an asset to the country and its people.
At the end, she called on religious leaders to build a generation that realizes the importance of peace, reconciliation, unity and truth.
