British embassy team visits Tigray

Addis Ababa, March 6, 2021 (FBC) – A joint humanitarian and political team from the British embassy visited Tigray regional state.

The team led by Christian Rogg, Head UKAid in Ethiopia, met with Chief Executive of the interim administration of the regional state Dr Mulu Nega.

They also met with mayor of Mekelle city, humanitarian agencies and people affected in connection with the law enforcement operation held in the regional state.

The British development programme in Ethiopia (UKAid) has so far provided £11.4m in humanitarian support for Tigray.
