Ministry collects 169.5b birr in revenue in 7 months

Addis Ababa, February 26, 2021 (FBC) – The Ministry of Revenues (MoR) said it has collected more than 169.5 billion birr in revenues over the past seven months.

The Ministry’s plan was 169.4 billion birr but managed to collect the aforementioned amount of income, thereby achieving 100.5% of the target for the period.

According to Lake Ayalew, the Minister of Revenues, the income was collected from direct, indirect and export taxes as well as sale of lottery tickets.
