PM Abiy, DPM Demeke express condolences over passing away of Dr. Tibebe Yemanebirhan

Addis Ababa, February 21, 2021 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonnen have expressed condolences over passing away of Laureate Dr. Tibebe Yemanebirhan who served his country at various levels including health sector leadership.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed extended condolence message for beloved ones of the deceased and all Ethiopians.

Deputy Premier said Dr. Tibebe has served Ethiopia through his engagements the public diplomacy sector and the health sector with great enthusiasm for the poor.

Demeke wishes comforts to the family, colleagues and beloved ones of the late Dr. Tibebe Yemanebirhan.

Meanwhile, the House of Peoples Representatives has also extended condolence message on death of the late Dr. Yemane Birhan who was conferred with the title of Laureate for his great contributions in the health sector.
