Amb Taye reiterates Ethiopia’s zero tolerance policy on sexual violence

Addis Ababa, January 23, 2021 (FBC) -Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Ethiopia to the United Nations, Taye Atske Selassie held discussion with Pramila Patten, the U.N. Secretary-General’s Special Representative on sexual violence in conflict.

Ambassador Taye briefed her on the situation in Tigray regional state and reiterated Ethiopia’s zero tolerance policy on sexual violence.

He further emphasized the need for further engagement on the alleged violations made by her office.
