Saudi Business Delegation, Somali region President discuss investment in Jigjiga

Addis Ababa, January 13, 2021 (FBC) – The Saudi Business Delegation led by the Saudi Arabian Investor Sheik Hamza has arrived in Jigjia town on Wednesday.

Up on their arrival at Gerad Wil Wal Airpot, members of the Saudi delegation have accorded warm welcome by President of Somali Regional State, Mustafa Omer and other high officials.

Head of the delegation Shiek Hamza and the investors have discussed with president of Somali Region, Mustafa Omer on investment areas in the region.

Mustafa briefed the delegation on investment opportunities and incentives to be facilitated by the regional government for business people and companies interested to join the sector.

The delegation has shown interest to engage in solar PV system cells  and vehicles assembly and real estate sector that plans to build close to 10,000 residential homes in the region.

On the occasion, President of the Somali Regional State, Mustafa Omer assured members of the Saudi Delegation that the regional government is committed to provide them with any required support in the sector.
