Ministry seizes contraband goods worth over 1.3bn birr in five months

Addis Ababa, December 15, 2020 (FBC) – The Ministry of Revenues said it has seized contraband goods worth over 1.3 billion birr during the past five months.

The amount of goods intercepted in the reported period has shown an increase compared to the same period the preceding year, according to the ministry.
