Commission issues arrest warrant for 40 military officers, police members

Addis Ababa, December 11, 2020 (FBC) – The Federal Police Commission has issued arrest warrant for 40 former and defected senior Ethiopian Air Force, defence forces and police officers.

The Commission accused the suspects of coordinating the kidnapping of the national defence forces and members of the federal police on November 4, 2020.

Leaving aside the responsibility given to them by the government and the people of Ethiopia, they took mission from the Tigray-based anti-peace elements, it said.
