President briefs Smart Africa on Ethiopia’s Digital Transformation Strategy

Addis Ababa, December 8, 2020 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work briefed participants of board meeting of SMART Africa yesterday.

The president spoke at the SMART Africa board meeting which was chaired by president Kagame of Rwanda.

During the meeting, she said Ethiopia has been undertaking various activities in line with ensuring technologically backed socio economic development in the country.

SMART Africa is an initiative by African Heads of State to accelerate sustainable socioeconomic development on the continent, ushering Africa into a knowledge economy through affordable access to Broadband and usage of Information and Communications Technologies.
