Addis Ababa dispatches medical team to military posts in Northern Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, November 16, 2020 (FBC) – Addis Ababa City Administration has dispatched a medical team comprising 48 health professionals drawn from several institutions in the capital to military posts in the northern Ethiopia amid National Defense Force’s law enforcement operation against the TPLF Junta.

Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie, Head of Addis Ababa Health Bureau, Dr. Yohannes Challa have presided over the farewell ceremony organized by the city administration to send off the medical professionals.

The Medical Team is comprised of 10 specialist physicians and a number of health professionals qualified in various fields of medical profession, it is indicated on the occasion.

Addis Ababa City Administration has accommodated all the necessary logistics supplies needed by the team to carry out their mission at posts where the National Defense Forces are taking law enforcement measures against the TPLF Junta militia.
