Administrative Boundaries, Identity Issues Commission schedules to complete study on May 2021
Addis Ababa, October 27, 2020 (FBC) – Administrative Boundaries Identity Issues Commission has announced schedule to complete the study it has been undertaking on administrative boundaries, identity and self administration issues will be completed on May, 2020.
Zones and Wordas which raised inter-region issues are included in the study undertaking, the commission stated on a quarterly job performance appraisal event held today.
Chairperson of the Commission, Dr. Tassew Gebre said that the commission forwards recommendations to government based on analysis and findings of studies it conducts on issues related to administrative boundaries, identity and self administration thematic areas.
Currently, 40 pct of the detailed study which is involving participation of more than 70 researchers drawn from 28 universities has been completed, the chairperson said.
According to ENA, director of the office of the commission, Awol Hussein, to his part, said findings of the study are instrumental to address administrative boundaries, identity and self administration issues in a sustainable manner.
