Ethiopia’s Security Service seizes 4kg cocaine bound for Bangkok

Addis Ababa, September 20, 2020 (FBC) – The National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) of Ethiopia yesterday intercepted 4kg cocaine worth $400,000.

According to a statement NISS sent to FBC yesterday, it was seized at the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport being transported to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.

An Ethiopian national caught trying to deliver the cocaine by hiding it in a laptop bag was arrested, along with three other suspects, it added.
