6th East Africa Finance Summit kicks off in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, June 15, 2023 (FBC) – A two-day annual East Africa Finance Summit is underway in Addis Ababa with the theme “Emerging Frontiers in Africa’s Finance sector: Regional Integration, Innovation, Access to Finance.”

The summit has brought together finance sector policymakers, board directors, executives, financial experts and other key actors from across East Africa to discuss the latest trends and challenges in the region’s financial sector, according to ENA.

The goal of the summit is to provide a platform for financial leaders, policymakers and experts to share knowledge, exchange views on emerging trends and opportunities and develop solutions to the challenges facing the East African financial sector.

Accordingly, the summit is expected to generate viable policy recommendations, learn from global and regional best practices and create a common understanding of the challenges and opportunities for the financial sector.
