Ethiopian Christians celebrate Good Friday

Addis Ababa, April 17, 2020 (FBC) -Christians across the nation today celebrated Good Friday, a holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Followers of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo, Catholic and Evangelical churches observed the holiday with various church services.

They marked it with prayer ceremonies, fasting and bowing down to remember the pain and suffering of Jesus Christ.

Ethiopian Christians will celebrate Easter, Christ’s resurrection, on Sunday.
