43rd Ordinary Session of the AU Permanent Representatives’ Committee under way

Addis Ababa, January 20, 2021 (FBC) – The two day Ordinary Session of the AU Permanent Representatives’ Committee (PRC) kicked off today through videoconference.

Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat and Chairperson of the Permanent Representatives’ Committee (PRC) addressed participants with opening remarks.

Ambassadors of the African Union Member States, as well as AU officials are participating in the Video Conference.

The Session also discussed agenda and draft decisions of the 40^th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and agenda of the 35^th Ordinary Session of the AU Assembly, scheduled to take place 2 – 3 and 5 – 6 February 2022 respectively.
