EPRDF Council concludes two-day session
Addis Ababa, November 21, 2019 (FBC) –The Council of the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) has concluded its meeting.
In its two-day session, the Council unanimously approved merger of the coalition, programs and bylaws of the newly merged party called “Prosperity Party.”
Merger of the coalition, programs and bylaws of the newly merged party were first approved by the executive committee of EPRDF.
In a Twitter post, Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed said “Prosperity Party is committed to strengthening & applying a true Federal system which recognizes the diversity and contributions of all Ethiopians.”
Fekadu Tesemma, member of the executive committee of EPRDF said the meeting of the Council was democratic and free.
