Sudanese PM arrives in Ethiopia
Addis Ababa, October 10, 2019 (FBC) – Sudanese new Prime Minister Abdallah Hamdok arrived in Addis Ababa for a two-day state visit to Ethiopia.
Upon arrival at the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport early today, he was received by Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed.
Prime Minister Hamdok will hold bilateral talks with his Ethiopian counterpart on different issues and meet with other senior government officials.
On Twitter, the Sudanese Prime Minister said the following:
#Ethiopia has played a pivotal role supporting the people of #Sudan in this glorious revolution. I look forward to meeting with PM @AbiyAhmedAli to relay our gratitude and confirm our commitment to a mutually beneficial relationship with this important neighbour.

He will also attend the inauguration ceremony of the ‘Unity Park’ later today.
The Sudanese Prime Minister is accompanied by the Foreign, Defense, Industry and Trade Ministers, among others.
The Ethio-Sudan Economic Forum organized by the Ethiopian-Sudanese Joint Business Council was held in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa a week ago.
