Addis Ababa city to build 2.4bln birr water project
Addis Ababa, April 20, 2019 (FBC) –The Addis Ababa city administration has signed an agreements with contractors to commence the construction of Legedadi–II water project at a cost of 2.4 billion birr.
The agreements were signed by Engineer Takele Uma, deputy mayor of Addis Ababa city and representatives of the contractors.
The project which will be completed within one and a half years has the capacity to produce 86,000 cubic meters of water per day.
The project will help supply clean water to 860,000 residents of Addis Ababa.
