Ethiopia launches second dose of measles vaccine
Addis Ababa, February 11, 2019 (FBC) – Ethiopia has launched the second dose of measles vaccine (MCV2) nationwide, according to Dr Amir Aman, Minister of Health.
The campaign is a great millstone to eliminate measles and securing child health, Dr Amir said on Twitter.
Measles is a childhood infection caused by a virus and it can now almost always be prevented with a vaccine.
Measles can be serious and even fatal for small children.
