Premier to hold discussion with 60 ambassadors
Addis Ababa, January 11, 2019 (FBC) –Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed will meet with 60 Ethiopian ambassadors who are called for a briefing next week.
The newly appointed Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Nebiat Getachew, today briefed local media on current issues.
Nebiat, who replaced ambassador Meles as MFA Spokesperson, said the Prime Minister will meet with the ambassadors to discuss on the ongoing reform and the diplomatic gains made from it.
The diplomatic successes achieved in the past ten months and ways to defend Ethiopia’s interest at the global level will also be discussed, he added.
Moreover, discussion will be held on ways to enhance the participation of the Diaspora community and increase Ethiopia’s economic diplomacy, he added.
