Ethiopian emerges as Entebbe’s largest operator
Addis Ababa, November 5, 2018 (FBC) – Ethiopian Airlines (Ethiopian) has emerged as the largest operator at the Entebbe International Airport, offering 140,000 outbound seats in the first quarter of 2018.
Kenya Airways follows at 127,000 seats and RwandAir at 90,000, according to data from air traffic analyser OAG.
OAG schedules show that Ethiopian business route between Entebbe and Addis was used by passengers going into other countries.
The airline also registered more than 14,000 seats on its tag on connection to Goma in the Democratic
Republic of Congo, as well as its Juba connection, where it flies daily using its Bombardier Q400s, according to The East African.
