President Mulatu addresses P4G summit
Addis Ababa, October 20, 2018 (FBC) -The summit of Partnership for Green Growth and Sustainable Development Goals of 2030 (P4G) kicked off in Copenhagen Denmark under the theme “Global Leadership for a Sustainable Future.”
Ethiopian President Mulatu Teshome addressed the summit.
Yesterday, the President held talks with Soren Skou, CEO of A.P. Moller Maersk, an integrated transport and logistics company of Denmark.
The CEO said his company is ready to invest in Ethiopia.
A delegation consisted of representatives of Maersk will go to Addis Ababa next month, Skou said.
President Mulatu Teshome on his part appreciated the decision of the company.
During his two-day stay in Denmark, the President will meet Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen, Queen Margrethe the Second and Minister of Development and Energy of Denmark.
P4G was officially launched in September 2017 by the governments of Ethiopia, Denmark, Chile, Colombia, Kenya, Korea, Mexico, and Vietnam.
