Premier meets members of Defence Force
Addis Ababa, October 11, 2018 (FBC) – Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed yesterday addressed some members of the Ethiopian Defence Force stationed in and around Addis Ababa.
The soldiers came to the Office of the Prime Minister to express grievances related to pay and other benefits they receive during periods of deployment, according to Fitsum Arega, Chief of Staff at the PM office.
The Premier listened to the grievances carefully, reprimanded them for the wrong procedure they followed to express those grievances, Fitsum said on Twitter.
PM Abiy concluded the meeting with a promise to meet properly in the near future to positively consider their demands, he added.
