Gov’t won’t tolerate increasing tendency to disregard law, says Premier
The violence in some parts of the country is an acceptable as it poses a considerable threat to the rule of law,
Addis Ababa, August 18, 2018 (FBC) -The Ethiopian Defense Command and Staff College today graduated 130 senior military officers with master’s degree and diploma programs.
Ten of the graduates are from neighboring countries. The graduates received certificates from Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed.
After congratulating the graduates, the Premier said that Ethiopia needs trained, impartial, and professional army to maintain development, democracy, peace, and security.
The violence being observed in some parts of the country is an acceptable as it poses a considerable threat to the rule of law, the Prime Minister added.
Since rule of law is the foundation for the unity of the people, the government won’t tolerate the increasing tendency to disregard the law, he added.
